Dickinson & Morris is the oldest pork pie bakery and the last remaining producer of authentic Melton Mowbray Pork Pies in Melton Mowbray.

The business was founded in Nottingham Street in the Leicestershire town of Melton Mowbray by John Dickinson in 1851, and in 1886 an apprentice, Joseph Morris, joined the business. In 1901 the partnership between John and Joseph was cemented and the business then became Dickinson & Morris.

Samworth Brothers bought the Dickinson & Morris’ Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe after fire severely damaged it in 1991 and restored the Grade 2 listed building to its former glory. In 1996 the Dickinson & Morris brand of Melton Mowbray Pork Pies was launched across the UK and is now available in major multiple retailers and premium food outlets.

Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe is now firmly established as one of Leicestershire's most popular tourist attractions and is a "shrine to the pork pie". It is a key landmark in Melton Mowbray, the Rural Capital of Food, and demonstrates Samworth Brothers’ commitment to the values of real food.
