Samworth Brothers believes that we should only make food that we would be proud to take home and share with our family, and that we should price it honestly. We agree with John Ruskin.

As a family business, we have never been tempted to compete at the very cheapest end of the market - after all, where's the fun in producing products you would not eat yourself?

We also believe that our long term success depends upon us continuously improving everything we do, bit by bit and year by year. Our business must evolve ever better products for the consumer, service to our customers and opportunities for our staff, and it must become more efficient as we do it.
