I have worked for Dickinson & Morris for 2 years and we are part of the Samworth Brothers group which means we get quite a lot of benefits for example a pension scheme, occupational nurse our own personnel manager and health scheme.![]()
Within 6 months I became charge hand in the spice room and then had the opportunity to take NVQ level 2, which I passed. Since then I have had the opportunity to enrol for level 3 which is much better now because we have the Samworth Academy on site - so we can do all the training on site. It is absolutely brilliant fun.![]()
I have been really enjoying it and the training I've received from the company is second to none.![]()
The thing that impresses me most about the company is everyone is encouraged to progress with their career and given support from the area team managers upwards.![]()
The bakery operates around PQP, which means people, quality, profit. We have fantastic facilities like a subsidised staff restaurant.![]()
