Ginsters and Tamar Foods, both based in Cornwall are responsible for baking a wide variety of innovative and traditional pasties and savoury pastry slices. Ginsters is the massive brand leader in the market (with nearly 40% of supermarket sales), and is known in particular for its authentic Cornish pasty and Real Honest Food approach.

Ginsters is one of 40 members of the Cornish Pasty Association and is the largest manufacturer of pasties in the county. The CPA is also applying for PGI status to protect Cornwall's most famous export.
