Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe

When the Dickinson & Morris' world famous Olde Pork Pie Shoppe burnt down in 1991, Samworth Brothers bought and refurbished it so that we would never forget our real food heritage.

Whilst Samworth Brothers' businesses produce high quality food in huge volumes, the Shoppe ensures that we keep close to consumers and remember that real food has real values.

Established in Melton Mowbray in 1851, Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe bakes artisan bread, authentic pork pies and many other products, and the Sausage Shop makes and sells its own range of premium sausages. The two shops sell local Stilton, pickles and preserves and have a large mail order customer base.

Despite competition from five supermarkets and many local butchers in the town, Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe sells nearly 200,000 pies per year to visitors and locals alike - a testament to the importance of food heritage to the British consumer.
