Distribution

There are two distinct arms to our distribution services, our main fleet of Samworth Brothers Disitribution lorries and our van sales fleets of Coldcall Distribution and Ginsters.

With three Distribution Centres in Callington, Bristol and Leicester, Samworth Brothers Distribution operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with over 120 articulated vehicles. The three warehouses handle over 24,000 pallets and over 1.2 million cases per week. Highly professional and providing cost effective, temperature controlled services for our own sites, as well as many external chilled food manufacturers.  We are proud of the reputation we have built with the retailers for providing the highest levels of on-time delivery performance within the chilled food consolidation market.

Operating out of Bradgate Bakery, Coldcall provides bespoke distribution solutions for a number of chilled food suppliers, including our own businesses within the Samworth Brothers group. In addition Coldcall also provides Picking & Consolidation services from Picking Centres at Melton Foods and Bletchley in Milton Keynes.
