Good luck to Ginsters Finance Director Paul Berne who has set off this week on a 250 mile ride in aid of the Plymouth Argyle Community Trust. Plymouth Argyle supporter and keen cyclist Paul has been training hard and regularly commutes to work on his bike as part of his preparations for the big ride.

Through their ‘Pedal for Pounds’ event, the charity is raising money for the Chestnut Appeal to support the fight against prostate cancer. They hope to beat last year’s total of £18,000.The ride starts at Oxford, following a football ground themed route through the South of England. The cyclists are visiting stadiums including Southampton, Reading and Torquay United with Paul and other riders finishing at Home Park for the final home game of the season against Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.

Ginsters are the proud shirt sponsor of Plymouth Argyle F.C., who have recently been promoted to EFL League One. Paul Berne said "we have strong ties with our local Football Club as their shirt sponsor, and a great amount of respect for the charity. I wanted to take up this challenge in order to support a great local cause and push myself for a fantastic campaign.’
