Ginsters is launching the ultimate Cornish Cheddar & Caramelised Onion Pasty to welcome in the New Year and it’s sure to set your taste buds tingling!
Cornish born Michelin Starred Restaurant Head Chef, Chris Eden, has collaborated with Ginsters Development Chefs to add a new twist to this iconic vegetarian pasty. The pasty comprises caramelised onions and spring onions with a hint of wholegrain mustard which perfectly complements the creamy blend of Cornish Extra mature and mature cheddar.
Ginsters’ new addition to the range not only taps into the growing trend for flexitarianism but also drives awareness of Ginsters’ commitment to local sourcing, wherever possible, using a blend of tasty Cornish Extra mature and mature cheddar cheeses.
Ginsters will also be launching two new sandwiches to see in the New Year available nationwide from January 10 2018 – Hunter’s Chicken and Firecracker Chicken.
The sandwiches contain British Roast Chicken breast with the Hunters chicken combining smoke flavoured bacon with reduced fat mayonnaise, BBQ Sauce and Westcountry farmhouse mature Cheddar cheese on malted grain bread. Firecracker Chicken combines the chicken with spinach, red pepper, sour cream and coriander with Piri Piri sauce and chilli mayonnaise on seeded tomato bread. Both sandwiches are perfect for those consumers looking to reduce their lunchtime calorie intake post-Christmas with the Firecracker Chicken containing only 311 calories and the Hunters Chicken only 449 calories.
