We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger) - (Fixed term contact until end of Dec 2021) to be based at our Bradgate Bakery site in Beaumont Leys, Leicester.

Job Opportunity

  • I/CO reconciliations
  • Assisting in overhead overview during month-end
  • Manual order accruals
  • Processing Expenses
  • Petty cash posting and reconciliation
  • Cash Book posting
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Raising manual invoices
  • Reconciling several BS Recharge accounts
  • Journal postings
  • Support Sales Ledger Team when needed

The Right Person

You will be someone who is self-motivated and focussed on the customer. You will demonstrate initiative and ownership. You value others and their contribution and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues. You will be flexible and adaptable to change. In addition, you will have the following skills:

  • Experience working in food and/or manufacturing beneficial
  • Experience working in a busy accounts department to tight deadlines essential
  • Good general knowledge of MS Windows/basic computer skills essential
  • GCSE Grade C or above Maths and English or working towards an Accountancy qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoys investigative work and must be a logical, non-flustered thinker
  • Organised and good time management
