The Role:

 Promote standardisation and the provision of a high-quality service adopting where necessary a lead by example ethos
 Production of a timely, accurate and cost-effective service to the business
 Processing of PAYE and NIC and communication to the HMRC
 Responsible for the correct processing of holiday, sick and statutory payments
 Responsible for all company pension scheme deductions and associated administration paperwork
 Responsible for voluntary and compulsory deduction schemes
 Calculate and pay profit share as appropriate
 Overall responsibility for the reconciling and balancing of all Payroll Control accounts on a weekly / monthly basis
 Providing accurate payroll figures to each division’s financial teams on a weekly basis as soon as payroll has been agreed
 Conclude year end procedures and produce electronic P60 documentation for every employee
 Work to SLA KPIs and report on performance and trends.

The Successful Individual To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications:

 Experience in a similar role within a payroll department working with payroll Ideally used to working with Open People
 Understanding of payroll legislation ie. TAX, SSP, SMP
 Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
 Attention to detail
 Organised and methodical approach Numerical ability and accurate data entry skills
 Ability to work under pressure and timescale
