We want to hire graduates who are looking to stretch their skills and knowledge base and who want to play a part in our continued success. Our graduate programme has been specifically designed to develop our leaders of the future, so if you want a role that prepares you for a career in management, then you’ve come to the right place.

The selection process

Once you send your application to us, the process will be as follows:
  • Application received and screened
  • Fact Find call
  • Telephone Interview
  • Discovery Day Assessment Centre
  • Online Testing
  • Final Stage Assessment Centre

Industrial Placement 2017

Four placements

The scheme lasts two years and, during that time, you will experience four placements of six months each that will test your commercial, technical, project management and people management skills. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Click here to see the types of charity projects you might get involved with.

Ongoing support

We have a great support structure in place, so you will be assigned a mentor who will be on hand to provide help, advice and guidance whenever you need it. Your mentor will be a senior manager whose job will be to take an interest in your development with us and to respond to your needs by providing useful insights based on their own experiences.

Residential learning

Over the course of the two years, you will attend an Institute of Leadership Management- accredited Leadership and Professional Development Programme operated by our partners, ‘Discovery Graduates’. Called the Open Programme, it consists of three courses each lasting three days. On each course you will work alongside graduates from other companies and disciplines. As well as developing new business and personal skills, you will undertake assignments to help reinforce what you have learned when you are back in your job with us.

Career opportunities

After the two years, you will be offered a role either in our Operations, Technical or Commercial functions that suits your skills and experience.
