An exciting opportunity has arisen for Weekend Bakery Operators to join us at Kensey Foods in Launceston, Cornwall.
At Kensey we deliver a fantastic portfolio of high quality desserts, including custard tarts, cream cakes, fruit pies, crumbles tarts and sponge puddings. We also produce under license for Cadbury.
The successful applicant will:
Be responsible for producing quality fresh desserts
Set and operate production machinery and equipment
Be responsible for efficiency and waste during production
Report and correct faults to keep downtime to a minimum
Maintain accurate records of quality and product traceability
To succeed in the role you will need:
A good level of literacy and numeracy
The ability to work consistently to high quality standard.
To be highly organised, follow procedures and meet deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative
To demonstrate a process/product understanding e.g. HACCP, GMP etc.
To understand and meet Legal, Health & Food Safety requirements.
