A challenge you will never forget
For almost two decades, the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge has brought together colleagues, customers and suppliers from across the food supply chain to raise money for causes that matter most to them. Since the first event in 2007, the Challenge has raised more than £3.3 million for over 90 charities and good causes, supporting organisations both nationally and within local communities. In 2026 alone, the tenth Charity Challenge raised more than half a million pounds, making it the most successful event to date and a true milestone for everyone involved.
The Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge is a demanding endurance event built around teamwork, determination and community spirit. Teams take on a gruelling nine-hour adventure race featuring trekking, kayaking and biking, all while raising funds for charities with personal connections to participants. Over the years, the Challenge has supported organisations including LOROS Hospice, Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People and many smaller local charities, helping to make a lasting difference to individuals, families and communities. More than just a fundraising event, the Charity Challenge reflects Samworth Brothers’ long-standing commitment to being a force for good – bringing people together to support one another, promote well-being and create positive change.
