POWERHOUSE GAMES 2025: CHAMPIONING INCLUSIVE SPORT TOGETHER
For the second year running, we were proud to support the PowerHouse Games – a brilliant celebration of inclusive sport, held at Leicester Tigers’ Mattioli Woods Stadium and organised by the incredible charity Power2Inspire. Their mission is simple but powerful: to ensure no one is left on the bench.
Twelve amazing colleagues from across Samworth Brothers stepped up as Team Captains for the day, each guiding their team of young people through six adapted games – including seated volleyball, walking football, touch rugby and more. The aim? To build confidence, promote teamwork, and bring people of all abilities together in a fun, supportive environment.
The day brought together students from local mainstream and SEND schools, Melton-Brooksby College and Leicester Tigers academy players. Teams stayed together throughout the day, learning from each other and sharing in the joy of inclusive sport.
And of course, as a food business, we couldn’t let the day go by without fuelling everyone with some well-deserved half-time snacks!
