Our 10th Charity Challenge to be set in the Peak District
The 2026 Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge is on its way and this year, we’ll be heading to Castleton in the heart of the Peak District, with our event hub based at the Youth Hostel, Losehill Hall.
Our Charity Challenge is an adventure-based fundraising event that has become a much-loved part of life at Samworth Brothers. It’s about more than physical endurance, it’s about teamwork, determination and raising vital funds for charities across the UK.
Over two action-packed weekends, teams of four will take on three major sections:
- Mountain: Trek iconic routes including Mam Tor and Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District, with sweeping views across this stunning national park.
- Kayaking: Paddle across the striking waters of Ladybower Reservoir, working in sync with your team to navigate the course and collect points.
- Biking: Test your stamina as you take on the legendary climb of Winnats Pass, a dramatic, winding ascent that will push your strength and strategy to the limit.
Alongside the challenge, you’ll get to explore the beautiful landscapes and fascinating history of Castleton and its surroundings. Read more about the area here – https://visitpeakdistrict.com/locations/castleton
