MEALS CHARITY CHALLENGE TEAMS RAISE OVER £6,000 FOR RAINBOWS HOSPICE
Meals Charity Challenge teams raise over £6,000 for Rainbows Hospice
Colleagues from our Meals category have raised more than £6,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, following a series of fundraising activities in support of the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge.
Rainbows, based in Loughborough, provides expert palliative and end-of-life care for babies, children and young people, as well as wider support for families across the East Midlands. (Rainbows Hospice)
To mark the fundraising milestone, members of the Meals Charity Challenge teams joined representatives from Rainbows for a cheque presentation, celebrating the generosity of colleagues and supporters who helped make the donation possible.
The teams raised funds through a range of activities, including a curry night, raffles, bake sales and a car wash, with support from colleagues across Meals helping them exceed their fundraising expectations.
Amy Stoner, Meals Compliance Manager, said: “To help raise money for Rainbows, some of our Charity Challenge teams collectively took part in a number of fundraising activities, including a curry night, raffles, bake sales and a car wash.
“The support we received was fantastic and helped us exceed our fundraising expectations. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously. Your support will go a long way in helping families at Rainbows during the most difficult of times.”
