Based in Leicester, our business specialises in the manufacturing of Premium Sliced Cooked Meats and Sausages as well as being the largest producer of Pate in the UK.

At Walkers Deli and Sausage Co we are constantly striving for ways to improve.  This passion for innovation is evident in all that we do. Every team member across our business is focused on product and process improvement.

In 2017 we launched well over 100 new recipes for our customers. To develop these unique products we draw upon the experience of our skilled workforce as well as seeking inspiration from the wider market and our trusted supply base.

Due to the premium nature of our business we use only meat from quality assured farms that have met the very highest standards of animal welfare and much of our pork is outdoor bred.

We continue to invest in new concepts and techniques to create a product range that is one of high quality and aims to delight people every day across the UK

Our people

Our people are our passion. With our long serving and loyal team members we deliver a consistently high quality product when our customers want it. Over 50% of our team of 925 strong have worked with us for over five years. We offer training and development to all, to allow our people to get satisfaction and reward from doing a job well and we also listen to their expert opinion on how we can get better every day. People development and engagement are at the heart of our business.

Community & environment

We are actively involved in our local community, supporting literacy and interview technique programmes in local schools. We also champion fundraising activities for local charitable organisations, including Rainbows Hospice for Children in Loughborough, Air Ambulance and The Carers Centre.
